Submitted manuscripts undergo initial editorial reviewing for the formatting style, and appropriateness to the journal scope. Articles that pass the initial editorial screening are sent to the reviewers. Decisions are made based on the quality of submitted manuscripts including novelty of the idea/hypothesis, reliability of data, appropriateness of interpretation of findings, validity of results and conclusions.
